I apologize for the lack of posts these last couple of days. This week I started working at a summer day camp with second graders. We play outside for hours and go to the pool everyday…unless it’s raining. Between the heat, all the sun and the never-ending energy of 25 7-year-olds, I’m usually pooped by the time I get home at 4 p.m. I’m also usually sweaty and not in the mood to take blog pictures. But today I was really excited to get right back into the swing of things!! While I do enjoy my job, I miss being able to dress up and put outfits together. I wear a camp tank top and athletic shorts each and every day — definitely not a very fashion forward ensemble! So today I schnazzed it up a bit and wore my Free People Diamonds in the Sky dress. It’s so beautiful and lightweight making it nice for the long summer days. (I really want to get the cream colored version too!!) I added the strappy bandeau underneath the dress because I needed to wear a bra, but since I knew it would be seen, I wanted it to look cute. Finally, I paired my white sandals with the ivory dress and I was set!!

I’m really into high necklines right now and the detailing on this dress is just gorgeous. You don’t need to add any necklaces because they would just overpower the look and take away from the neckline. The dress would also look great with a faux leather jacket or long cardigan for cooler weather!! It’s quite versatile!!
