FRIGID

So yesterday my boyfriend and I went into Georgetown for Valentine’s Day. I had been craving Georgetown cupcakes for weeks and their February flavors sounded so good (Raspberry Chip, Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Lava Fudge). Need I say more. We opted to go in on Saturday since it was supposed to be pretty “warm” compared to the rest of the week, but I was still FREEZING.

It was in the 30s, but the wind made it feel so much colder. I really shouldn’t complain though because it’s only in the teens and the wind is rip roaring at upwards of 40 mph! Needless to say, I haven’t ventured outside at all today. Instead, I’m just counting down the days until spring!!

Despite the cold, my boyfriend and I had a great day in Georgetown. We left with six cupcakes and seven macarons. (The macarons may all be gone now.) Haha! Not ashamed. They were delicious. We’re trying to ration the cupcakes at least; we’re only having two a day!

You’ll probably be seeing this backdrop again because as soon as the weather gets nicer, I want to head back and take more pictures! I was too cold yesterday to take very many. But I’m a sucker for colorful painted walls!!
