OSCARS BEST DRESSED

This year’s Oscar red carpet was incredible! I was really impressed by the choice of gowns this year. I was literally speechless when I saw Emma Stone arrive! She looked gorgeous and the gown was just perfection. Very few people could pull that color off, but she did it brilliantly. I also loved Rosamund Pike’s custom Givenchy and Julianne Moore’s Chanel gown, to name a few.

Check out all of my best dressed below:

oscars emma
Emma Stone in custom Elie Saab Haute Couture. This is my absolute favorite dress! I don’t have a single bad thing to say. She was drop dead gorgeous from head to toe. I loved her hair, the color of the dress, her makeup! I loved everything! I was honestly speechless when I saw her arrive. Simply stunning!
oscars rosamund
Rosamund Pike in custom Givenchy Haute Couture. She has never looked better. This is my favorite dress of hers from this year’s award season. It fit her like a glove (I mean it had better, since it was custom). The color looked great against her skin and she is just so naturally beautiful. If I could just be her for a day…
oscars margot
Margot Robbie in Saint Laurent. Another favorite from the red carpet. I loved the low neckline and the long sleeves. They worked great together and prevented her from showing too much skin. When she arrived though, it must have been windy because she was holding her dress together — no nip slips here! Regardless, she looked like a bombshell.
oscars naomi
Naomi Watts in Armani Privè. I loved how different this gown is. It looked as if Naomi was wearing a bandeau underneath her gown, but it’s all one piece. I loved the dainty straps and her dark lip. Another favorite — I have quite a few!
oscars chloe
Chloë Grace Moretz in Miu Miu. Some might say this gown was too mature for her, but I thought it was beautiful. And it had pockets! Nothing is better than a practical gown!
oscars cate
Cate Blanchett in Maison Margiela Couture. The photo doesn’t do this gown justice. It was so beautiful, but the dark color made it hard to see the details. I really liked that she paired the statement turquoise necklace with the gown as well. It was a match made in heaven. Honestly, Cate can do no wrong!
oscars laura
Laura Dern in Alberta Ferretti. Laura is so darn tall and I’m so jealous about it! She looks gorgeous in everything because she is so statuesque. I liked the gown and its rocker vibe and she was just too adorable with her father on the red carpet!
oscars lupita
Lupita Nyong’o in Calvin Klein Collection. Oh Lupita, could you be anymore perfect. Her Oscar gown from last year was a stunner, but this gown was just as amazing. I mean it’s made from 6,000 pearls!! I can’t even imagine how heavy it must be. I love that she took a risk and as usual, she looked stunning while doing it!
oscars keira
Keira Knightley in Valentino. This gown is different. It had writing on it which is something you don’t see everyday, but I loved the ethereal vibe of the gown. Everything from her loose waves to her headband to the color of the gown added to the fairy-like vibe. She was another one who took a risk and I think it paid off.
oscars behati
Behati Prinsloo in Armani Privè. Gosh why do models look good in everything?! This gown was so beautiful with the beaded detailing and red color. I liked that she put her hair back, letting her jewelry and gown take center stage! Love you Behati!!
oscars chrissy
Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad. I really need to meet Chrissy in person. She seems like she’d be so much fun! This gown ran the risk of showing too much skin with all the cleavage and the high leg slit, but Chrissy still looked classy and elegant! I also loved her hair, her lipstick and the color of the gown.
oscars gwyneth
Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph & Russo Couture. I really loved this dress. Gwyneth tends to opt for simple yet form-fitting gowns, but I liked that she took it up a notch with the shoulder detail. I also really liked the pale pink hue!
oscars gina
Gina Rodriguez in Manon Gabard. I wish this gown was more form fitting, but I love Gina and I loved that she wore a sustainable dress as part of the Red Carpet Green Dress Campaign. This dress was made from peace silk! The whole concept is so cool and Gina seems like the sweetest person!
oscars jamie
Jamie Chung in Yanina Couture. This reminded me of a princess gown, which isn’t usually something I’d be fond of, but I really liked this dress. I think it was the mix of nude and navy that got me. It was a really unexpected combo, but worked oh so well! I also liked the firework decorations throughout (that’s probably not what the designer was going for, but that’s how I’m going to describe them).
oscars julianne
Julianne Moore in custom Chanel Haute Couture. Julianne stunned just as she has all award season. She had been wearing lots of color and darker tones so I liked that she chose a neutral for the Oscars. So much detail, so gorgeous!
oscars kerry
Kerry Washington in Miu Miu. Kerry said this gown was easy, as in comfortable and easy to maneuver in. That’s something you don’t usually find in designer gowns. Not only was her dress “easy,” but it was beautiful and feminine. I really liked the peplum top!
oscars jared
Jared Leto in Unknown. I don’t usually have men in my best dressed, but Jared Leto killed it in this lilac (at leas I think it’s lilac) tux. And I can’t help but be jealous of his hair. It’s better than mine and that’s so not right!
oscars sienna
Sienna Miller in Oscar de la Renta. I love Sienna and how she just exudes confidence. I’m not sure if I liked the neckline of this gown, but I liked the detailing at the bottom and the bows. The gown had a good mix of femininity and edge.
oscars jenniferr
Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab Haute Couture. Of course she couldn’t help but show off those tatas. I could have done without that, but I still loved the gown. I especially loved the color and how it looked against her skin. This gown seemed to be slightly more girly than her usual outfit choices and I like that she went for something a little different.
oscars jenna
Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Zuhair Murad. Ahhh, Jenna is so beautiful. This gown was perfectly simple since she wasn’t nominated or presenting, I loved that belt, her jewelry and her makeup! She’s so pretty that she’d look good in a paper bag, but this was breathtaking.
oscars anna
Anna Faris in Zuhair Murad. I loved the ethereal vibe of Anna’s ensemble (very similar to the vibe I got from Keira). Everything from her blonde hair to her skin to the color of her gown worked! Well done Anna!
oscars zendaya
Zendaya in Vivienne Westwood. Last time I saw her she had super short hair! How did this happen?! I wasn’t a huge fan of her hair, but the dress is gorgeous — very Vivienne Westwood! I thought it fit her perfectly and she was beautiful.
oscars giuliana
Giuliana Rancic in Mireille Dagher. This dress made me think of Valentine’s Day. I thought it was slightly pageant-like, but I still loved it. Since Giuliana dyed her hair, I was getting some Jessica Rabbit vibes. Am I alone on that one? But I do like her new hair color and she looked great!
